I am pleased to announce the release of lzlib 0.2.

Lzlib is a compression library providing in-memory LZMA compression and decompression functions, including integrity checking of the uncompressed data. The compressed data format used by lzlib is the lzip format.

The homepage is at http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzlib.html.
The manual is at http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/lzip/manual/lzlib_manual.html.

The sources can be downloaded from http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/lzip/.

The md5sums are:
750e7c433624389c0fa1523775038de4 lzlib-0.2.tar.gz
b7f755c26a078beda14d064e9432e598 lzlib-0.2.tar.lz

Changes in this version:

* A segfault that occurred when decompressing a file with trailing garbage has been fixed.

* A false positive returned by the functions LZ_compress_finished and LZ_decompress_finished has been fixed.

Please send bug reports and suggestions to address@hidden

Regards,
Antonio Diaz, lzlib author and maintainer.
