Hi there,
How do I go about forbiding lynx browsing the local file system?
You should be able to do that using the -restrictions option, e.g.
lynx -restrictions=dired_support
I'm setting up an open access box for people to remotely test their
websites, and do not want users doing the likes of:
$ lynx /etc/passwd
I have messed about with ~/.lynxrc
RULE:Fail file:*
RULE:Fail /*
No success.
I also tried a shell alias of: lynx='lynx http://' to no effect.
Any suggestions?
