I'm trying to compile lynx2.8.3dev.9 on a system I have never used before,
but it died with the following error:
In file included from LYCurses.h: 28,
from ./LYCurses.c:3:
/usr/local/include/slang.h:27: warning: deprecated symbol "unix" is no longer
predefined
./LYCurses.c In function `start_curses':
./LYCurses.c: 676 `SLang_TT_Read_FD7' undeclared (first use in this function)
[...]
./LYCurses.c: 722 `SLtt_BlinkMode' undeclared (first use in this function)
*** Error code 1
This is on NetBSD 1.4.1 i386. gcc version is "egcs-2.91.60 19981201
(egcs-1.1.1 release)". Slang is version 1.3.8. ./configure was run
with the following options:
#!/bin/csh -f
setenv CPPFLAGS "-I/usr/local/include -DENTITIES_HTML40_ONLY"
setenv LIBS "-L/usr/local/lib -lintl"
./configure --prefix=/usr/local \
--with-nls-datadir=/usr/local/share --enable-nls \
--disable-included-msgs --without-included-gettext \
--with-screen=slang --enable-nsl-fork --with-zlib \
--disable-partial --enable-gzip-help --enable-externs \
--enable-cgi-links --disable-prettysrc \
--disable-alt-bindings --disable-config-info \
--disable-finger --disable-gopher \
--disable-persistent-cookies --enable-cjk \
--enable-default-colors \
--disable-menu-options --enable-internal-links
Any ideas?
