Update:  when I try to pipe the result of makeuctb to a pager,  it gets
truncated even earlier.  I tried most,  less and `vim -',  and it always
gets truncated at the line 525:
          {0x30b6,"Za"}, {0x30b7,"Si"}, {0x30b8,"Zi"
