        LYEditmap.c is an array module which contains the default
keybinding for the line editor.  Where it says "Add your key map
here" you can add other keybindings (and descriptions of them should
be added to the online help, like that for the default).  Users
can then select which binding they want for the line editor via
a popup window in the 'o'ptions menus (which presently shows only
the one, default, choice :).  The intent was to offer a set of
bindings corresponding, more or less, to ones in common editors,
but no one has contributed alternate key bindings.

        That design could be changed so individual keys of one
default array are changed via a configuration file, as for the
command key bindings.  That might not prove as useful for multi-
user systems where Lynx is set up by a sysop, but since in all
this time no one has contributed alternative bindings, the
original intent hasn't hit paydirt either.
