LYNX-DEV lynx cannot access www.kowi.de

Hi,

i noticed that lynx (and amaya 1.1b) cannot access the site http://www.kowi.de
while other browsers (netscape wintel, netscape 4.03 linux, chimera 1.70,
mMosaic 3.23, emacs w3 3.0.94, all on linux) get the page.

Symptom: connection timeout, both for lynx (current dev, the official releases
have the same problem) and for amaya.

telnetting to the site gives:

followed by the page

Analysing the http environment sent by all these browsers locally with the
well known test-cgi script i noticed that lynx and amaya have one common
difference to all of the other clients:

HTTP_ACCEPT contains a ;q=0.01 (amaya: ;q=0.3)

Is it possible that this addition causes the foreign web server to fail?
How can i tweak HTTP_ACCEPT in order to test (resp. prevent) the hang?
I must access this site sometimes but don't want to startup mozilla to read it.
