I *DON'T* recommend getting the helper files anymore because people are
finally trying to compile with different compilers.  I guess I didn't read
those instructions close enough -- I thought that was gone.

I will try to find time this weekend to rewrite that section carefully.
I urge the cygwin people to write instructions on how to get that version
compiled, preferably *DETAILED* ones including where to get cygwin and any
extra instalation needed to get the job done (like instructions on 
tweaking djgpp for a successful compile).
