it looks like at least two major highways being built above & 3 or 4 below!

doesn't all this, so admirably well laid out, demonstrate EXACTLY WHY
we need to STOP FOR A MOMENT & collect our collective breath
to establish a solid version 2-7-2 with Laura's & Klaus' improvements
to link numbering etc + Fote's bug fixes + anything else we can agree
is reliable & generally useful?
THEN resume the great conquests of autoconfigure, character translation,
parsing, SCO & anything else not ready for an official publication.
what do Laura & Klaus think? (Fote's on holiday ... )
