Yes.
DHCP will continue to run in the target, sending DHCP discover messages periodically. So, if a dhcp server comes on line then eventually the target will get a new IP address assigned by the DHCP server (dhcp offer) and abandon the autoip self-configured address.

Need some additional advice. If I have a target with an autoip assigned IP address what should happen when a DHCP server becomes available? Should it be doing a DHCP offer in response to the DHCP discover request from the client?
