Thank you for your answer!

I tried to change the network adapter configuration in the windows control 
panel - without success for my localhost problem.

Do I have to setup something else in the lwip 1.4.1 port then the following 
defines?

#define LWIP_HAVE_LOOPIF           1
#define LWIP_NETIF_LOOPBACK        1
#define LWIP_LOOPBACK_MAX_PBUFS    10

Be sure to turn off hardware checksum offloading on the windows network adapter.
