Freescale supposedly had done one for their ColdFire processor family but I have not personally determined the functionality/licensing issues associated with the project. If you are interested, you can reference App Note 3931

The tftp code is included in the StellarisWare packet available for download, so it's use is theoretically not limited to TI boards. However, I don't know the exact terms of use for that code.

BTW: While I'm using a TFTP server which is not free open source (although the source can be found using google), I haven't heard of any FTP client or -server, yet. Anyway, there's a big difference between the two protocols...
