It will be in the XMK tree and the plan is to keep it somewhat current
with stable releases of lwIP.  I had to modify the lwIP code slightly
for the port - so the modified version of lwIP is/will-be distributed
with the XMK tree also.

This would be great.  It will still be a few weeks before there is an
official release.  The lwIP port was the milestone for the upcoming
release, but there still are a ton of details associated with getting
out a new release (as I am sure you know :-).
