thanks for the explanation of your system and zero-copy input mechanism.

Have you looked into the recent developments regarding PBUF_REF pbufs?

They should match what you have implemented yourself, with the exception
that we currently do not do any boundary checks on PBUF_ROM/PBUF_REF
types.

I will implement pbuf_header() for PBUF_REF/ROM.
