I am also considering using lwIP for an application that uses RTP. I have
just started a prototype system.
I would be interested and willing to participate in some way.

We too are using the stack for commercial applications in high-end
video processing systems.
At this time, using lwIP for stable applications means knowing
where some issues are, and disable some features.
I hope to be able to work on branching off a stable tree in
a couple of week which only has bug fixes but no real new
stuff.

You could help in the RTP area, no doubt.
