So same result. As I said, not a DOS (or compiler) issue but a platform issue.
Now fixed by the new macro which can be overridden. I'll add an assert to
check that the macro behaves correctly.

warnings fixed, please add a bug tracker entry. Writing this here makes it
almost sure it gets forgotten ;-)
