URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?45109> Summary: recv() with flags=MSG_PEEK consumes data Project: lwIP - A Lightweight TCP/IP stack Submitted by: cpow Submitted on: Fri 15 May 2015 01:16:54 PM GMT Category: sockets/netconn Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Faulty Behaviour Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Planned Release: lwIP version: 1.4.0 _______________________________________________________ Details: I have a user report that suggests the implementation of MSG_PEEK is not quite correct. The data is being returned [as outlined in the second note in comment #4 of https://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?5049]. But subsequent calls to recv without MSG_PEEK do not return the same data. It is as though recv() is consuming the receivable data even if flags=MSG_PEEK. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?45109> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
