FYI, XySSL and its successor PolarSSL used to be BSD-licensed
(along with other licenses).
PolarSSL dropped the BSD-license in 2009 (for polarssl-0.11)
AFAIK, last BSD version was polarssl-0.10.1-bsd.tgz
