Follow-up Comment #21, bug #36380 (project lwip):

Just a sidebar comment, I noticed Marco is using SAM7_EMAC. I've had trouble
with some versions of this driver that are shipped with some RTOSes, e.g.
FreeRTOS. Seems to happen once things start to move "fast". There are a number
of assumptions in those drivers that don't always hold.

Maybe something new is causing things to move a little too fast for the
driver?

I've made a number of changes to the SAM7_EMAC driver and things work much
better for me now...
