I added a function in sockets.c that looks like: int get_err(int s) { struct lwip_sock *sock; sock = &sockets[s]; return err_to_errno(sock->err); } And then called that after the read fails. This is the output I get: Did not read expected 24 bytes: -1 errono: 5 The code for the function can be found here: http://pastebin.com/R2UmMWRsThe errno would seem to indicate that the call is EINPROGRESS but I am pretty sure it is set up as blocking so I'm not sure if I am getting that right.
