Me too. I haven't had a look at the code, though. No linux at hand, no dev
tools on my mac :-/

No, the tests are never expected to fail. However, first I lack a build-bot so
the tests keep getting out of sync (unfortunately).
Second, the test are highly sensitive to your lwipopts.h (and maybe to the
port, too, I haven't tried anything other than win32).
If you're willing to work further on the tests, here are 2 ideas which I'd
*love* to see but haven't found the time for, yet:
- some kind of automated build script that can "permutate" all configuration
options
- a test run that runs in the target (i.e. tests the port)
