[lwip-devel] 1.4.0RC1 vs 1.3.2 |

Hello,
I am a new user, preparing to port lwip over to my system. I am trying to decide whether I should start with the current release candidate (1.4.0RC1) or the last stable release (1.3.2).
I have been browsing your mailing list and have seen comments indicating that it is difficult to update 1.3.2 to 1.4.0RC1 -- which makes me more inclined to start with version 1.4.0RC1. Any chance someone could offer some advice? (Is 1.4.0RC1 stable enough for a new user to successfully port?)
I will be using this in an application with a GPRS modem (PPP) and a wired ethernet port on an ARM7 microcontroller (LPC2468). I plan to use a single-threaded implementation of lwip and therefore the raw api.
Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Thanks!
