Follow-up Comment #4, bug #27049 (project lwip): No, the IDs are unique. Looks like a timing issue. The DHCP server seems to take longer to handle multiple requests and so lwIP starts asking for repeated "Requests". It doesn't complete in my 10 second timeout before I fall back to a static IP. I'm going to see if 20 seconds helps. It appears if lwIP were a little more patient, it would get the response before it re-requests again and it would all complete faster. Attached is a pcap of 4 devices coming up together which takes more than 10 seconds to complete.
