I've had a quick look over the changes and it seems good to me. And you were
right, a new file is the better solution ;-)

One question only: wouldn't you need some more functions to be complete? I
especially think about dhcp_release() which seems to be  mandatory to call
before dhcp_stop() to tell the dhcp server you are done with your address.
And besides that, dhcp_inform(), netif_set_addr() (and so on)
netif_set_up/down() could also be needed to be complete.

I'm already happy with the current solution, but would love to have it
complete before releasing a version with this. What do you think?
