and, had I been diligent, I would have removed all the associated code
at the same time yesterday.

I was thinking of the cognate of "annihilated" in another language
(because of the ВГТРК telenovela I've been watching), but I thought
"annihilated" sounded harsh.
But what we need is less bourgeois sentimentality and more discipline:
