Just BTW...the line above cites year two thousand and one? Maybe I'm
just reading everything with extra care since installing OpenBSD and
seeing "preposterous time in filesystem". (I've overcome that, but this
2001 date puzzles me.)

I don't find that file in lmi trunk (I checked the skeleton trunk too).
It can't affect our production build, so please feel free to add it to
either or both trunks, and to commit changes to it without asking, as
long as it doesn't worsen the 'make check_concinnity' output.
