Hello Marco.
I'll ask you some questions to help qualifying the issue.
Is the echo issue also present on Android too ?
In any case, which Android version, app version and SDK version are you using ? (you can find the 2 least on sidebar>about)
Which version of linphone are you using on Desktop ? (please give me the exact version and the SDK version in the "about" menu)
Which Linux distribution are you using and which version ?
Are you using our Appimage or your distribution packages or a
tierce-party package ?
Could you please provide us application logs of the issue ?
Check that the logs are enabled in settings > advanced
Reproduce the issue
Click on send logs in settings > advanced
Get the log file from the provided URL and please give it to me
Which hardware are you using ? (pc, mic, speakers, eventually
headphone)

Hello,
I'm trying to use LInphone as my main open source SIP client but I'm facing issues on the echo to the point that I cannot use it at all.
I'm a Linux user and a software developer since many years and I have also some skills in the audio area.
So, I'm trying to use Linphone on my deskstop and the android app. I've tried out many configurations by enabling the echo cancellation after doing the calibration.
But the echo is so much there that I cannot use Linphone at all.
It's important to note here that I'm using the same system (desktop+microphone+speakers) with other applications such as Skype, Signal and conference tool like Jitsi, Zoom without experiencing the echo issue.
At this point I wonder if I'm missing something.
Can someone help me here?
Greetings,
Marco Dani
