Anyway, ended up deleting account and trying to reinstall it using my cell number, which worked before. However, now am getting "Account configuration issue -Unknown error, please try again later" message.

There is little to no instructions on the web on how to install linphone for use on its own, and especially little on the myriad of options. Wish there were a white paper on this. So, I cannot really figure this out on my own.

Any help appreciated.
