[Linphone-users] Unable to create account

Hello.

After having seen the message(s) about Linphone for Android, I decided
to try to install it on my Android cellphone.

The problem arose when I tried to set up the account, and, in the
setup process, it told me that it had sent me an SMS message to the
phone, from which, I had to retrieve the authorisation code, and enter
it in the form for the account setup.

Without knowing how to go to the SMS message, from the Linphone
account setup, I fumbled with the stuff, and managed to get out and
access the SMS message, and got the four digit authorisation code.

However, I could not resume the account setup process, and, so I had
to apparently initiate a new account setup process, but now, after
entering the username, whilst it displays a SIP address
"Your SIP address is <address@hidden>"
now, when I select the Create Account button, instead of the process
progressing, it now (after a while......) returns the error message
"<something like "unable to query server">"
 - I have given up waiting, this time, after about ten minutes.

So, after about half an hour, I am unable to create an account.

Amongst other apstects to this, I suggest that, if it is to require
the retrieval and input of the authorisation code, the process
include, when the message stating that the SMS message is sent, is
displayed, an option to suspend the account creation process, so that
the authorisation code can be retrieved, and then, the account
creation process, resumed.

At this stage, I have Linphone installed, and, it is unusable, as it
prevents me from creating an account, due to the messing around with
the suthorisation code.

It has occurred to me, that the sip account may have been created, and
unusable without the authorisation code, but, no process is shown, for
accessing the SIP account, to enter the authorisation code, if that is
the case.

It is frustrating.
