G729 is not listed in the available protocols.

I tried to build again and am working through dependencies.

I think my current problem is that I cannot build bctoolbox.

My first step was ./autogen.sh and I get an error (see below). Can you see what I am doing wrong?

libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in `.'.
libtoolize: copying file `./ltmain.sh'
libtoolize: putting macros in AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIR, `m4'.
libtoolize: copying file `m4/libtool.m4'

libtoolize: copying file `m4/ltsugar.m4'
libtoolize: copying file `m4/ltversion.m4'
libtoolize: copying file `m4/lt~obsolete.m4'
libtoolize: Consider adding `-I m4' to ACLOCAL_AMFLAGS in Makefile.am.

chmod: cannot access ‘.git/hooks/pre-commit’: No such file or directory

Thanks!

Hello Mark,

The command you used for building is the good one.

When you say you don’t see G729 in the list of codecs, do you mean
in the list of enabled codecs?

When launching linphone, the codec G729 is not enabled by default .
In Options->preferences->codecs , if you scroll down in the audio codecs
list, there should be G729.  You can choose to enable it .

Hope this helps.

Have a nice day.

Hi again,

I have Linphone working nicely, except I don't see G729 in the list of codecs.

When I built it, I used:

./prepare.py --all-codecs ; make;

What did I miss?

Thanks again,

Mark
