We have seen this 32 second call drop situation on other VoIP phones too.

Check the SIP and RTP traffic between the device and server. It is typically associated with NAT Traversal issues.

Hi

We are busy building an IOS app with Linphone source code (modifying it with our branding, we ar not coders!) . We have found that when an IOS device running linphone code receives a call, the call drops after 32 seconds. We have tried registering with both TCP and TLS as well as changed every setting we could.

The strange thing is that if I run the app on a simulator through Xcode the calls do not drop, as soon as I deploy it do an IOS device, incoming calls drop. I downloaded the offical linphone app from the App Store and had the same call issues where the incoming calls would drop after 32 seconds.

I assume the dropout could be our service provider but what I would like to try find out is why the calls work on the Xcode IOS simulator!!

Any help or assistance would be much appreciated.

Sorry to email you directly.

Kind Regards,

Lindt
