Hello Marcel and thanks for your kind (and unexpected!) response! I’ve made several tests on three PCs (two with Win8.1 and one with Win7) and in my case the issue does not depend on the chosen codec. To make a stereo test a stereo microphone is not necessary: it’s enough to use a stereo source (as an mp3 player) plugged into the “line-in” input of the PC soundcard. :) In my case, on every PC I used, only the left channel of the input is recognized by Linphone. I say it doesn’t depend on the codec because even the “Audio Assistant” tool doesn’t give any sign of life for the right channel of the stereo input. When I turn the source balance fully to the left, I hear the left channel on the PC which is receiving the call, on both earphones; balance to the right, complete silence! Kind Regards Michele Perrone Da: address@hidden [mailto:address@hidden Per conto di Marcel Weißenbach Hi, i may misunderstand this, but doesnt this depend on the used codec? I would test it myself but we don’t have any stereo microphones so we could not check if the sound is stereo or not, cause the sending device is mono only. Best Regards Marcel Weißenbach From: address@hidden [mailto:address@hidden] On Behalf Of Michele Perrone This is the fifth and last time I’m sending this question. Since I’ve tried to help several people in this mailing list, I think that at least a one-row response could be given to me… It’s a simple question: can stereo calls be made with linphone?
