Hi Carlo,

Thanks for your e-mail.

I use an iPhone 4S with iOS 8.4.1 (12H321) and Linphone 2.2.4.2 (core 3.7.0-1660-gea0eacc).

I have the same issue on an iPhone 6.

Looks like a setting/restriction in iOS, but I am seeking help?

Regards … Soren

Hi Soren,

I use Linphone on the iPhone 5 too since April of this year. I'm still experimenting with it. In May I noticed that people try to reach me but my Linphone was not reacting. I couldn't really figure out what was wrong.

The problem was mysterious and rather unpredictable. It seems when I changed some settings, and changed it back those problems occurred. Then I deleted Linphone that many times that it started to work again.

In June/July and August I didn't really test with it.

But in mean time iOS is updated, I'm running now 8.4 (12H143), I still need to update to 8.4.1. Linphone 2.3 (core 3.8.5-291-g4416962). Over the last few days I did do various tests, but it now seems to work okay.

One thing I also noticed that when the iPhone is full (many pictures) Linphone crashes when an incoming call comes in. Also sometimes when I take the call it starts to re-register again.

What versions of software you use?

Regards,

Carlo

Hi,

We have been using the iPhone client (and the Windows Phone client) for a while and have problems it falling asleep.

When the iPhone Locks due to inactivity the client unregisters and cannot be brought back to life by an incoming call (like GSM calls do).

I was looking for a setting somewhere to make Linphone permanently available?

I am confident that this basic problem has already been resolved by some-one?

Thanks for helping.

Regards … Soren
