I had the same problem on both Vista and Win7.
Go to C:/USERS/user name/APPDATA/ROAMING/LINPHONE
There you will find 2 files, delete them both, then re-run Linphone. It
will recreate new files. You will have to reconfigure Linphone again. It
seems that when Linphone closes it corrupts one or both of those files
and it then will not work again. I think it has to do with the way you
close Linphone, DON'T use the 'RED X' to close it, open options and click
on exit. Doing this so far I haven't had the corrupt problem.

Next, after you have it working and before you close it, go to the
subdirectory,
create a folder called BACKUP and then copy the 2 files into it. This
way if it
ever gets corrupted again, just copy the files from the backup folder
and you
should be back in business.

Jim
