I have been trying out Linphone for Android. I've used it successfully for
calls on a local network using the 'address@hidden' calling format.
But I am interested in using it without an Android Wifi or 3G connection.
I have set up my own network on a Wifi device, but not using the Android or #G
network managers. I can do all sorts of networking between my devices and
every thing works just as I expect.
But I run the Linphone App it complains there is no network. From what I can
tell it is checking for an Andriod managed network.
Is there a way to tell it to not do this check and to use whatever network
exists? This would be useful for custom networking such as Ad-Hoc or network
over USB to an external device, etc.
Bill
PS: Perhaps this is a question for the dev mailing list, I am not sure?
