As a workaround, as it looks related to DNS, I suggest you put the ip
address of sip.optel.org <http://sip.optel.org> in proxy config field to
avoid dns resolution.
I edited .linphonerc and changed the line from:
reg_proxy=<sip:iptel.org;transport=udp>
to:
reg_proxy=<sip:212.79.111.155;transport=udp>
I still receive a segfault at startup however.
