Hello,

I've installed v. 3.5.2.10 pkg for Debian wheezy.

I can call out and connect...occasionally. However, several problems are recurring.

1) Video - Linphone turns on my Creative Sync webcam, so I know it's enabled, however:
- I get only black on my video screen, so no self-view or video in possible
- Sometimes the video stream is sent out and I can capture it on another client (Macbook Pro). But then Linphone freezes after a short connection.

2) Exit - I can't quit the application without it always freezing. So, most of the time, a force exit is necessary, resulting in lost settings each time.

3) On restart - I often get this error: "Could not start udp transport on port 5060, maybe this port is already used."

4) Linphonec - V - my preference would be to actually control linphone only via CML. However, I get the following errors:

~$ linphonec -V
ALSA lib conf.c:4687:(snd_config_expand) Unknown parameters 0
ALSA lib control.c:951:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default:0
ALSA lib conf.c:4687:(snd_config_expand) Unknown parameters 1
ALSA lib control.c:951:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default:1
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1018:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
Ready
linphonec> ortp-error-Could not find suitable format or Xv port to work with.
Refreshing
ortp-error-Could not open display (null)

I'm wondering if you might have some suggestions for troubleshooting the above?

Thank you very much for any help.

Charles Hamilton
