Sorry, but I'm very much a noob with Linux. I'm not sure what the command would look like relative to leaving out msvideo_neon. Can you be more explicit with your suggestion?

I'll be happy to share a successful tarball...when I get one ;)

If you are building for Debian, you could just leave this codec out - ( while we dream of VP9).

Let me know when you get this working - I would love to have a copy of the tarball.

The version in wheezy has audio problems - cuts off beginnings of words.

It looks like they are close to having 3.6.1 in testing - blocked by a couple of packages:

If this could find it's way into backports it would help a lot of people out.

Hello,

I've made significant progress in fixing the long list of errors I was
getting compiling and installing all  the dependencies and plugins. And
everything seems to have gone smoothly with ./autogen.sh and ./configure.

However, I've now hit a wall with make:
