[Linphone-users] linphone not capturing microphone

hi all,

linphone does not capture from my microphone. This renders it mostly
useless.

I use alsa, no pulseaudio or other things in the way. other programs
capture just fine, with similar settings. It used to work until few days
ago. No packet installations that I can imagine beeing involved.
playback is fine.

it's a debian machine (mostly testing aka wheezy) with alsa-utils
1.0.25-2 and linphone 3.5.2-8

anyone ideas?
