[Linphone-users] linphonecsh.exe on Windows - no inbound ring tone - please help |

Hi
I am running linphonecsh.exe on windows and I have designed my own hardware to
work with the PC. I want it to work with both Linux and Windows.
I can call linphonecsh.exe from my own program with absolutely no problem.
Everything is working fine, except I have no way of detecting an inbound call.
Although everything is working as far as call progress, ie. (I can answer an
inbound call if I know it is happening) there is no ring tone of any kind, so
how do I know when someone is calling in order to answer it?.
Using linphonec.exe directly I have the same problem. I can see that my
soundcard is correctly set up for ring audio, so I must assume there is no wav
file set up for a ring tone. So I looked for somewhere to configure paths to
wav files..
I cannot find a config file anywhere. I have searched the entire hard disk for
either .linphonec or .linphonerc, neither files exist anywhere on my system.
The help files state that they they should be automatically created. The
linphone Gui application works and does have a ring tone. It also does remember
it's settings, but I've no idea where they are stored either.
linphonecsh.exe is closest program for my needs that I have found, I just need
an inbound ring tone or the ability to drive the PC speaker, for inbound
ringing indication.
Any help would be appreciated - thank you.
Best regards,
Mike
