I've configured the linphone by giving --enable alsa. But in the soundcard
list of linphone i'm able to see only oss: dev/dsp. why is it happening?

Check that your mixer settings allow you to record from the mic with another
app like arecord.
Check that you can record with linphonec - use the record command in the
linphonec cli
Check that rtp packets are going from the arm to the pc, and that the pc is
receiving them not dropping them
