Thanks, it compiles and runs fine now. I do still have to delete gtk from SUBDIRS in the top-level Makefile.am, but that's easy enough. :)

  Take care,
  Steve

Hmm...it looks like there is a problem with the CVS checkout. I hadn't
tried building it before...I was just hoping to give you a quick solution
to what should have been an easy problem ;)

Oh well, it's not that important right now, I just wanted to report it.
Thanks for your help, anyway. :)

Hi, Stephen --

It looks like the compile is failing in video/web cam support. What was
the output from when you ran configure? And what options did you pass?

I'm sorry, my brain was totally asleep when I posted that, I think. I
was using ./configure --disable-video --disable-nls. No idea how I
forgot to say that. Configure's output showed no errors, however. It
looks like it's still trying to compile with video support, but I'm
lost. Thanks.

  Hi,

I've been getting this compile error for some time with the CVS
checkout, but hadn't had time to report it. I'm using (mostly)
Slackware 10, gcc 3.3.4, aclocal 1.10.
