Maybe I have different enviroment, but I noticed a lot of failures and
bugs in this release (configured with --disable-static --enable-ipv6
- --enable-gnomeui --disable-video):
1) linphonec doesn't open alternative config file:
strace -f -eopen linphonec -c ./linphonerc
open("/etc/ld.so.cache", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/usr/local/lib/liblinphone.so.1", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/lib/libreadline.so.5", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/lib/libncurses.so.5", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/lib/tls/libc.so.6", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/usr/local/lib/libmediastreamer.so.0", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/usr/local/lib/libortp.so.5", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/usr/local/lib/libquickstream.so.0", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/usr/lib/libosip2.so.3", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/usr/lib/libosipparser2.so.3", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/lib/libnsl.so.1", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/lib/tls/librt.so.1", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/lib/libdl.so.2", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/usr/lib/libasound.so.2", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/usr/local/lib/libspeex.so.1", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/lib/tls/libpthread.so.0", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/lib/tls/libm.so.6", O_RDONLY) = 3
open("/dev/urandom", O_RDONLY) = 3
Cannot open config file ./linphonerc.
Process 30713 detached
2) linphonec crash during quitung:
linphonec> quit
Terminating...
No active call.
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

3) linphone (GUI) is trying to search gettext catalog in bad directory:
$ strace -f -eopen linphone 2>&1 |grep linphone.mo
open("/usr/local//locale/cs/LC_MESSAGES/linphone.mo", O_RDONLY) = -1
ENOENT (No such file or directory)
open("/usr/local//locale/sk/LC_MESSAGES/linphone.mo", O_RDONLY) = -1
ENOENT (No such file or directory)
even if linphone.mo has been properly installed into
/usr/local/share/locale/cs/LC_MESSAGES/.
It also complies about missing images:
** (linphone:31239): WARNING **: Couldn't find pixmap file:
linphone/linphone2.xpm
open("/home/petr/.gnome2/linphone", O_RDONLY) = 14
and invoking Help->About print this
** (linphone:31239): WARNING **: Couldn't find pixmap file:
linphone/linphone.png
** (linphone:31239): WARNING **: Couldn't find pixmap file:
linphone/linphone2.xpm
and instead of linphone pricture there is a Gnome foot print.
4) sipomatic opens sample file from wrong location (the same problem as
locale files):
open("/usr/local//sounds/linphone/hello8000.wav", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT
(No such file or directory)
ortp-warning-Failed to open /usr/local//sounds/linphone/hello8000.wav
[pid 31425] open("/tmp/sipomatic0.wav", O_WRONLY|O_CREAT|O_TRUNC, 0600) = 10
But despite these problems, it's excelent program and I appriciate your
work on this project.
