[Linphone-users] compiling with gtk2-2.4 ?

Hello,

I would like to compile linphone 1.0.0pre7 . 

configure says that:

Libgnome and/or libgnomeui are missing. For that reason the gnome interface 
cannot be compiled.

Actually, libgnome 2.2.0 and libgnomeui 2.4.0.1 (including devel packages) are 
present, and seem to be detected by configure:

checking for libgnomeui-2.0 >= 1.96.0... yes
[...]
checking for libgnome-2.0 >= 1.96.0... yes

But I found another problem when reading the configure output:

checking for gtk+-2.0 >= 2.4.0... Requested 'gtk+-2.0 >= 2.4.0' but version of 
GTK+ is 2.2.4
configure: WARNING: Could not find gtk+>=2.4.0; gnome interface cannot be 
build.

Well, indeed I have gtk2 version 2.2.4, and upgrading it to 2.4 seems to 
require a big upgrade for my distro. At least I need newer atk, glib and 
pango. I'm not sure I want to go that far.

Can I somehow build linphone with gtk2 2.2.4 ?
