Hello.

If your SIP server doesn't support sending presence information, all your contacts will appear as offline (the grey light means "no presence information").

You can have a look at Flexisip's features to see which standard is implemented by our server, and see which one you need to enable/implement on your SIP server.

Also, in 'jitsi', the a 'line busy' icon is displayed automatically, just because someone is on the phone, without any manual intervention. Is this also possible with linphone? If so, how?
I'm not sure but I don't think that this busy lamp fields feature is implemented in our SDK yet (I think not, as I replied to a similar question a few months ago). This is not implemented in our apps.

And finally, linphone doesn't seem to act on how I set the status myself. When setting it to "DND" or
"offline", I would expect no calls coming in (no ringtone, etc..), but Linphone is acting as if nothing was set. Is there any way to make sure no call is coming in (besides terminating linphone?).

This is a design choice to not associate behaviours with a presence status in Linphone apps. I don't know if we have everything needed in the SDK to handle it. You could eventually check the documentation or the code to see if you find what you need.

We could eventually develop these features for you for a fee if you want (we have too much work for this year, but we could start it next year).

To buy us a development request, you need to fill our commercial form (click on "Contact us").

Hi.

All of the below is happening with the latest version of Linphone for windows:

I have a couple of users, all connected to the same sip server and all of
them listed in my contact list. All of them are shown as "offline", not matter what their status actually is, or how they have set their statuses.
What do I need to so, so the status is shown as set by the user?

Also, in 'jitsi', the a 'line busy' icon is displayed automatically, just

Any Ideas?

Thank you!
