My team and I have recently decided to work on a voip service for our application so we can have in app voice calls. (We are a classified ads application)
We wanted to use Linphone's library in order to proceed with the project but we came across few issues that I wanted to share with you guys and try to ask for some help.
List of issues:
1) We are facing a 1 - 1.5 seconds latency delay that is pretty annoying that we would like to optimize this. Our Jitter Buffer is around 600-650 based on what is shown on the linphone app.
2) When we start testing the call from an iOS device to an Android device the above lag and latency issues become more frequent and worst.
Our Stack:
Client: Linphone
Server: Using kamailio SIP server and RTP engine for recording voices.
I would highly appreciate it if you could give your opinion/solutions on the issues that we are facing as it would help us significantly.
