Hello,

I am trying to connect two linphone based SIP clients without proxy. No
internet connection, local ad-hoc WiFi network. One Linux device spans
the net using hostapd and the other iOS device connects. For example,
the iOS devices invites using the IP Address in form "sip:<ip>:<port>"
and a SIP connection is established, but the RTP audio/video channels
are looping back. I guess this is because the from address is
"sip:address@hidden" and it connects the media streams to localhost
which in turn result in seeing/hearing one's video stream/audio stream.

After some investigation I came upon some bctoolbox methods to determine
the IP address. Is there any way to aid this function to procure the IP
of the WiFi, i.e. 'wlan0', interface and not 'lo'? Or any other way to
prevent locally looping media while no proxy is used?

Kind regards
Florian
