[Linphone-developers] How to trigger h264 plugin download in linphone-android

Hi all,

I'm testing linphone-android 3.2.4 as published in the app store on a
Samsung Galaxy S4.

I provision the configuration via http, and set up h264 as the preferred
video codec.

Sometimes I get a dialog to download the h264 plugin, then the codec
gets enabled and it works.  Other times the plugin is already there
without any download (even after erasing all settings in the Android app
manager!).

And other times, the plugin is already there and I restart Linphone,
then the plugin is gone forever and there is no prompt to download it
anymore.  I guess this is a bug.

Now my question: how to trigger the download of the h264 plugin?
