[Linphone-developers] linphone-android: huge binary commit into git repo

Dear Linphone developers,

after updating my local linphone-android git repo I thought git had a
problem, because the repository's metadata (.git) became twice as big
as before (3. March). Looking further I noticed, that git was OK, but a
huge binary (uncompressed audio res/raw/dont_wait_too_long.wav) has been
commited into the repo. The size of 6+ years of accumulated source
history has been doubled by only 1 commit. It seems not very rational.
Now imagine you'd have to adjust loudness of this audio. This will again
make the repo metadata to grow by ~30 MB and so on. Could you
reconsider this decision? Maybe you could quickly rewrite the history
in order to get rid of only this particular commit? I know it's not
recommended for public repos, but since not much time has been passed
and I believe not many users have already synced their repos, it will
not hurt so much.

Thanks,
Andrey
