I want to know if it would be easy way to set up Linphone on a small Linux
computer to listen for incoming VOIP calls and based the caller ID - take
different actions?
For example, I would like to be able to sound a different ringer for different
people. And I would like to display a friendly name(by looking in my address
book) for caller ID?
I know there is a command line version of Linphone - I assume I would be able
to configure that to connect to my VOIP/SIP account and monitor incoming calls
and then trigger some action, like run a script or run a Python program, when
the phone call was detected.
Does anyone know where their might be instructions or a tutorial for doing
something like this?
Thanks,
David
