hi everyone..,

Thanks for your replays for my previous post.

I am trying to make a P2P communication between linphone and another sip client.
I am using linphone source to make calls.I am setting the config file with all parameters like..,

Firewall as 3
specified the STUN address also. (stun.internetcalls.com, stun.ekiga.net)
But still i am not able to get the p2p.

one of the NAT type is fullcone another is port-restricted-cone NAT.
can anyone tell me whaere i am missing....

Thanks and Regards
NANI.

hi Johan,

Thanks for your replay.
My actual requirement is to send RTP packets in P2P.
Now I am giving the config file with firewall_policy settings as you suggested.

Thanks and Regards
Nani

Hi Nani,
in the linphone config file, in the [net] section the fields:
- firewall_policy (0 to 4: 0 for direct connection, 1 for gateway, 2 for STUN resolve, 3 to enable ICE, 4 for uPnP)
- nat_address (gateway IP, if firewall_policy is 1)
- stun_server (if firewall_policy is 2 or 3)

regards,

johan

Can any one tell me how to mention these settings.

Thanks
